What is Cabinet Refacing?
Refacing is an economical alternative to replacing. We at Ideal Home Improvement, specialize in turning old worn out looking kitchens into a source of pride without the inconvenience, time consuming and cost of total remodeling.
Rather than planing total replacement of your cabinets, you have the alternative of having them refaced. In most cases you will save up to half of the cost in material and labor.
Refacing does not change the layout, but you may add additional matching cabinets, a peninsula or an island to enhance your kitchen's capacity.
Refacing means putting a new face on your existing cabinets. We start by removing the cabinet doors, drawer fronts and hardware. Then we make all the necessary repairs to your cabinets. Next we cover all the exposed cabinet areas with a real wood veneer.
New matching doors, drawer fronts and hardware of your choice of style and color, are then installed to give your room a complete new look. Lastly, we will install decorative molding to tie everything together.
We can also replace your countertop, sink and faucet if you choose to do so. Other options such as roll out shelves and tilt trays are also available.
Below are some examples of kitchens we have refaced. We at Ideal Home Improvement, take great pride in our work. There will be no sub-contractors involved. All work is performed by our own crew of professionals, and the owner personally oversees all installations.
